The role Senior Estimator - Painting & Decorating will involve:
*Estimator position dealing with a range of commercial painting & decorating projects
*Lead end-to-end tendering process, including take-offs, pricing, submission, and handover.
*Prepare accurate cost estimates using drawings, specifications, and estimating software.
*Manage and track tender opportunities within CRM, ensuring timely follow-ups to maximise conversions.
*Engage with clients and contractors through site visits, technical input, and value engineering to support bids.
*Collaborate with internal teams, lead handovers, and mentor junior estimators to strengthen delivery and capability.
*Working on project sizes varying in size from £4k to £4m
The ideal applicant will be a Senior Estimator - Painting & Decorating with:
*Must have Estimating experience within one or more of the following; decorating, and /or painting sectors
*Preferably coming from a sub-contractor background with commercial project experience
*Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
*Highly organised with good attention to detail
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
*Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
*Full UK driving license
