Transport Planner
Location: Stowmarket, IP14 2ED
Annual Salary: Competitive depending on experience
Hours: 8am-5pm
We’re looking for a Transport Planner to take charge of concrete deliveries in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You’ll be of our scheduling operations, ensuring every delivery runs smoothly and every customer is satisfied.

Key Responsibilities of the Transport Planner:
*Coordinate and schedule daily concrete deliveries.
*Timely and accurate input of all customer concrete orders into the system.
*Respond promptly to all customer queries and complaints.
*Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
*Provide support for major contracts and schemes, focusing on production and transport capacity planning.
*Build strong relationships with new and existing customers
*Liaise daily with relevant parties to inform them of their work schedules.
*Maintain and update batching plant spreadsheets
*Plan and despatch customer orders in a cost-effectively.
*Conduct month-end stocktakes as required.
*Liaise with the Vehicle Workshop Manager regarding truck maintenance schedules.
