What you’ll do:

* Take full responsibility for the month-end close process, ensuring timely preparation of management accounts complete with detailed variance analysis and insightful commentary.
* Prepare and review profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports to provide accurate financial information for stakeholders.
* Deliver comprehensive margin and profitability analysis across products, channels, and promotional activities to support strategic initiatives.
* Collaborate closely with teams across operations, marketing, and commercial functions to support budgeting, forecasting, and informed decision-making.
* Monitor revenue trends, analyse sales performance data, and identify cost drivers within a dynamic e-commerce environment.
* Support the creation and maintenance of budgets as well as rolling forecasts by providing clear insight into risks and opportunities facing the business.
* Perform thorough balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy, integrity, and robust financial controls are maintained at all times.
* Provide detailed stock and inventory analysis by partnering with operations teams to understand movements and their impact on margins.
* Assist with cashflow forecasting processes and contribute to effective working capital management strategies.
* Drive continuous improvement by supporting automation initiatives within the finance function and contributing to ad hoc projects that enable business growth.
What you bring:

* Qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or qualified by experience with proven track record in similar roles within finance.
* Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills enabling you to build relationships with colleagues across different functions including non-finance teams.
