Junior Development Technician (Chemistry / Material Science)

£30,000 - £34,000 + Progression + Training + Company Benefits
Do you have an education in Chemistry or Materials Science? Are you looking for an entry-level role with one of the leaders in their field, who are expanding rapidly, offer excellent progression pathways, development and the opportunity to build a long-term career?

In this varied and dynamic role, you will be a crucial part of the development team within the company. You will be developing the design of a new range of industry leading thermal plastics. Your day-to-day tasks will vary from ensuring all aspects of the Accelerated Weathering Programme are performed efficiently and assisting plant trials as well as providing technical support to resolve any production issues.
This role would suit a candidate with a background in Chemistry or Materials Science, looking for a truly global company who will develop their skillset, progress their career and prioritise their staff.
The Role:
*To ensure that all the Weathering Machines are operating efficiently and maintained appropriately
*To complete and report laboratory work and lend technical support when needed
*To contribute to the understanding and interpretation of test results in relation to product construction and modifications
*Monday to Thursday - 7.5 hrs, Friday 5.5 hrs, 35.5 hr week
*9% pension, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays
The Person:
*Chemistry or Materials graduate or similar
*Looking for an entry-level role, long term progression
*Commutable to Cramlington
