About the RoleWe are looking for a Junior Merchandiser to join the merchandising and planning team, supporting a key product category.
Reporting into the Senior Merchandiser, you will play a key role in trading performance, forecasting and range optimisation, helping to drive profitability and reduce risk across the department.

Key Responsibilities*Weekly trade analysis of sales, stock and margin performance
*Identifying risks and opportunities and recommending trading actions
*Supporting markdown and promotional strategies to maximise profit
*Working with buying and design teams to build commercial ranges
*Managing and reviewing department line cards to maintain availability
*Planning and reforecasting WSSI to ensure accuracy and performance alignment
*Analysing historical data and trends to inform trading decisions
*Supporting seasonal range and buy sign-off preparation
*Working closely with ecommerce and marketing teams to optimise product performance
*Managing critical path with buying teams and liaising with suppliers
*Supporting and developing a Merchandising Admin Assistant
What We Are Looking For*Strong Excel and analytical skills with merchandising experience
*Understanding of retail trading, product and commercial performance
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
*Excellent numerical and communication skills
*Experience in a fast-paced retail environment
