Food Technology Teacher (Part-Time)
Location: South London
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:40am – 12:40pm
QTS: Not required
A specialist education setting in South London is seeking a Food Technology Teacher to join their team on a part-time morning basis, starting ASAP.
This role would suit a passionate and practical Food Tech specialist who enjoys working in a supportive, child-centred environment. The school supports pupils with additional needs, so a calm, nurturing, and flexible approach is essential.
The Role:
*Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons
*Support pupils to develop cooking skills, confidence, and independence
*Promote food safety, healthy eating, and life skills
*Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
*Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*Experience teaching Food Technology or delivering food-related learning
*A patient, adaptable, and encouraging approach
*Confidence working with pupils who may have additional needs
*Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*Good safeguarding awareness
