Teqniq is searching for a Lead Licencing Officer to work in the public sector.
21 hours per week.
4 month contract.
09:00-15:00
Work days: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
Ideally majority of the time in the office, but would consider hybrid working not fully remote.
Job Description:
Working with the Licensing team delivering the licensing function ensuring compliance with the authority’s statutory obligations.
Acting as the Licensing Lead, advise and support Licensing team members as required and reporting to the Environmental Health and Licensing Team Leader.
Attend internal Licensing Team meetings.
Keep up to date with policy development, draft any policy required for renewal and present to Licensing Committee.
Respond to routine enquiries, complaints, processing applications across the whole of the Licensing service.
Carry out Licensed inspections, investigations of non-compliance as required and take enforcement action if necessary.
Prepare reports and present to any Licensing Subcommittee hearings.
