Teaching Personnel is recruiting a qualified SEN teacher for an autism specialist primary school in West Sussex for September 2026. This is a school that puts pupils first in everything it does, where lessons are designed around the individual, and where teachers have the time, space and support to do their very best work.

What the role involves:
*Planning and delivering highly personalised lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with autism.
*Supporting pupils’ communication, social interaction, and sensory needs within a structured environment.
*Working in line with individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
*Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and SENCOs.
*Tracking pupil progress and adapting your teaching to celebrate and build on every step forward.
What we’re looking for:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Primary teaching experience with a strong understanding of autism and associated needs.
*Knowledge of autism-specific teaching approaches such as structured teaching or low-arousal environments.
*A genuine passion for inclusive, pupil-centred education.
*Calm, creative and committed to high expectations for every pupil.
