The OpportunityA caring and inclusive primary school in Kettering is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This role involves supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them to access learning and thrive both academically and emotionally within a supportive classroom environment.

Your RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs

*Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities

*Support children with communication, social, and emotional development

*Help maintain a calm, structured, and engaging learning environment

*Use strategies to support behaviour and promote positive outcomes

*Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

*Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils

*Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs)

*Is calm, patient, and nurturing in their approach

*Communicates clearly and effectively
