Communications Manager (Contract)
£300-£350 a day | Monthly Rolling | Hybrid
We are working with a global engineering and manufacturing business undergoing an exciting period of growth and transformation. They are looking for an experienced Communications Manager to support delivery of a group-wide communications strategy across both internal and external channels.
This is a broad, high-impact role partnering closely with senior stakeholders, playing a key part in shaping messaging, driving employee engagement, and ensuring consistency across a complex, international organisation.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering clear, engaging and strategic communications that align with business priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
*Leading internal communications activity, including content, campaigns and key messaging
*Supporting employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, analysis and action planning
*Partnering with senior stakeholders to develop high-quality communications and presentations
*Managing and evolving internal channels, including intranet content and governance
*Supporting delivery of company-wide updates, leadership communications and events
*Contributing to external communications across website, digital platforms and social channels
*Supporting key corporate outputs including annual and sustainability reporting
*Ensuring consistent tone, messaging and brand alignment across all communications
About You
*Proven experience in a communications, corporate affairs or internal communications role
*Experience working in a global or complex organisation
*Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior leadership
*Excellent writing and content creation skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging
*Experience delivering employee engagement initiatives and internal campaigns
*Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
*Digitally confident, with experience across intranet platforms, CMS and communications tools
