Interim Hard FM Supervisor (M&E)
Based in Kent, on site

Rate: £330 per day via an umbrella company
We’re looking for an experienced Hard Services Supervisor (Mechanical & Electrical) to join the Property Services team within a local authority. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the corporate estate, supporting essential public services across the borough.
This is a hands-on supervisory role, overseeing the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse portfolio including offices, community buildings, and operational sites.
Key Responsibilities include:
*Supervise the delivery of hard FM services, including M&E, HVAC, and building systems maintenance
*Manage and monitor contractors and service providers, ensuring performance against SLAs and KPIs
*Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations and health & safety standards
*Support the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes
*Oversee reactive maintenance and ensure timely resolution of issues
*Carry out site inspections, audits, and quality checks across the estate
*Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to support service delivery
Experience and knowledge required:
*Proven experience in a Hard FM / M&E supervisory role
*Must have IOSH qualification
*Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC
*Good understanding of statutory compliance (e.g. H&S, gas, electrical, water hygiene)
