Field Account Manager (NON SALES)
Birmingham (Field-based – covering Birmingham and surrounding areas)
£29,000 Basic per annum + Company Car
Overview
We are currently seeking a Field Account Manager to join our client’s team based in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, managing their own diary, and building strong relationships with customers in a face-to-face environment.

The Role
In this field-based position, you will be responsible for managing customer relations of a portfolio of existing customers, while handling any disputes or complaints.
Key responsibilities include:
*Visiting both new and existing customers to build and maintain strong relationships
*Managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
*Handling customer queries and resolving issues efficiently and professionally
*Negotiating contract terms to ensure continuity of business
*Working closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
*Planning and managing your own diary to maximise productivity
*Visiting customers that are difficult to engage remotely, resolving complaints and strengthening relationships
*Making confident, on-the-spot decisions to resolve challenges while protecting the company’s commercial position
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
*Full UK driving license required
*Previous experience in account management or a similar customer-facing role
*Strong customer relationship and complaint resolution experience
*Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
*Ability to manage a busy workload using a CRM system
*Strong organisational and time management skills
*Good geographical knowledge of Birmingham and surrounding areas
*Experience working in a fast-paced environment
*Strong communication and IT skills
