Role: SEND Teaching Assistant
Pay Rate: £95–£105 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
The Role:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, adapting learning to individual needs
*Assist in delivering EHCPs, IEPs, and behaviour support plans
*Promote inclusion, independence, and positive social interaction
*Support emotional wellbeing, communication, and behaviour regulation
*Work closely with teachers, the SENCo, and wider support staff
We’re Looking For:
*Previous SEND experience (desirable but not essential)
*Transferable experience (e.g. care work, youth work, psychology, family SEND experience)
*A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*A genuine desire to learn and develop within education
