We are recruiting on behalf of respected secondary schools across Liverpool for reliable and confident Cover Supervisors. The Role*Supervise lessons across a range of subjects using pre-prepared materials
*Keep students focused, engaged, and on task during teacher absence
*Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
*Provide clear and constructive feedback to teaching staff
*Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to maintain a positive learning environment
*Gain practical classroom experience while supporting student progress and wellbeing

*PGCE or teacher training applicants wanting further school experience

What We’re Looking For*Experience working with children or young people in the UK (essential), for example in schools, clubs, sports coaching, or youth organisations
*A degree or strong academic background
*Confidence in independently leading and managing a classroom
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to support the wider school community
*A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
