Credit Controller – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Hours: 7:30 - 4:00
Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for your next opportunity with a growing business? We’re supporting an ambitious and expanding organisation in Horsforth as they look to appoint a Credit Controller on a 12-month fixed term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive finance team in a broad, end-to-end credit control role where you can make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities:
*Managing the full end-to-end credit control process
*Proactively chasing outstanding debt via phone and email
*Building strong relationships with customers to resolve queries efficiently
*Allocating cash and reconciling customer accounts
*Investigating and resolving invoice disputes
*Producing aged debt reports and supporting with debtor analysis
*Working closely with the wider finance team to improve processes and reduce overdue debt
*Supporting month-end activities and ensuring accurate account records
About You:
*Previous experience in a full cycle Credit Control role
*Able to hit the ground running and manage your own ledger effectively
*Strong attention to detail with a proactive and organised approach
*Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
*Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and managing priorities
*Experience improving processes or identifying efficiencies would be advantageous
