Job Description:
Warehouse Manager
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse operations. This is a key role within the business, responsible for overseeing a team, maintaining high operational standards, and ensuring the warehouse runs efficiently, safely, and accurately at all times.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with around 10 years’ experience in warehouse management, who is confident leading teams, driving performance, and implementing best practices.
An interest in cars or the automotive industry would be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities*Oversee the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
*Lead, manage, and motivate warehouse staff, setting clear expectations and maintaining high performance
*Take full ownership of health & safety, ensuring compliance and promoting a strong safety culture
*Monitor workflows, productivity, and staffing levels to meet business demands
*Ensure accurate stock control, including regular audits and inventory management
*Oversee goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch processes
*Identify and implement improvements to systems, processes, and layout
*Manage and resolve any operational issues quickly and effectively
*Work closely with senior management to support business growth and efficiency
What We’re Looking For*Strong leadership and team management skills
*In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices
*Excellent understanding of health & safety regulations
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Proactive, hands-on, and solutions-focused
*Strong communication skills and ability to lead from the front
*Experience with warehouse systems and stock control
