Job Title: Qualified Audit Senior / Experienced Part-Qualified Audit Semi-Senior
Salary: £40,000+ per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Northampton
Working Hours: Flexible, Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Overview
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Qualified Audit Senior or experienced part-qualified Audit Semi-Senior to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to take a leading position in delivering high-quality audit and assurance services to a diverse portfolio of SME clients across a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities
*Lead and manage audit assignments from planning through to completion for a varied client base
*Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior team members, ensuring high standards of delivery
*Prepare and review statutory financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards
*Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with regulatory and professional requirements
*Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout engagements
Group Audits & Consolidations
*Take a lead role in auditing groups of companies, including consolidated financial statements
*Work closely with senior team members to ensure group accounts are accurate and compliant
*Gain hands-on experience in complex group structures and reporting requirements
Accounts & Tax
*Prepare financial statements, including consolidated accounts
*Prepare and review corporation tax computations
*Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations and deadlines
Advisory & Development
*Contribute to advisory assignments and specialist projects
*Support clients with accounting and tax-related queries
*Develop a broad understanding of accounting and taxation across multiple sectors
Requirements
*ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent experience)
*Proven experience in audit within an accountancy practice environment
*Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards
*Experience with group audits and consolidated accounts is advantageous
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
