Job Description:
CPL Life Sciences, UK, are partnering with a market leading clinical research organisation to support in the hiring of a Director of Participant Strategy & Engagement to lead the end-to-end participant lifecycle across early-phase clinical trials.
This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to identify, attract, enrol, and retain study participants, ensuring recruitment targets are delivered on time and within budget.
You are able to work in a collaborate environment, whilst maintaining autonomy over the strategic deliverables for this role.
London based, 4 days per week on site
Permanent, full time role
Key Responsibilities & Experience:
- Define and deliver participant recruitment and engagement strategies across multiple clinical studies
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams, driving performance, accountability, and collaboration
- Oversee recruitment operations, ensuring delivery against timelines, budgets, and contractual targets
- Monitor KPIs and participant flow, using data insights to optimise recruitment and retention
- Analyse screening failures and implement improvements to enhance conversion rates
- Manage and improve recruitment systems, databases, and digital tools
- Ensure compliance with clinical research regulations and data protection requirements
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, healthcare organisations, and key stakeholders
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimisation and quality enhancement projects
- Demonstrate extensive experience in clinical trial recruitment, including work with healthcare systems and budget management
