Job Description:
ROLE: Asbestos Site Analyst
HOURS: 40 hrs per week
LOCATION: Greater London
Role and Responsibilities:
*Ensure that all asbestos-related work is carried out in accordance with company’s Group Procedure Document Air Sampling, Fibre Counting, 4SC and Certificate for Reoccupation procedures’ - GPD 4 and other associated documentation.
*To comply with the Company General Quality Procedures with support from the Quality Manager.
*To provide quality services and information to clients, must have knowledge of all current asbestos and associated regulations.
*Report to the Line Manager any occurrences during business activity that may require reporting to our insurers or legal advice.
*Attend operational team meetings and refresher training as and when required.
*Arrange meetings with the client or contractor as and when required.
*Ensure that reports are completed in accordance with timescales set and to the required standard.
*Participate in the internal and external audit programme for fibre counting, airborne fibre monitoring and 4SC as required.
*Compile recommendations and technically review reports as necessary.
*Provide technical advice as and when required.
*Attend training courses as and when required.
*Prepare health and safety risk assessments and assist in ensuring other staff under their control adhere to the assessment.
*To carry out any other duties required as part of the overall strategy to achieve the company’s objectives.
*Must have demonstrable experience within the asbestos field and meet the requirements for the role as set out in company procedures.
Required Qualifications:Applicants must meet the below-defined requirements for the role.
*The BOHS P403 and BOHS P404
*The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) Level 3 Certificate for Asbestos Air Monitoring Analysts
*The BOHS Certificate of Competence in Asbestos
*Full UK Driving Licence is required.
