Job Description:
Quest Search & Selection is currently recruiting for a Business Development Sponsorship Manager - B2B Events. In this role you will support the Event Sales Director in driving revenue across established and new international conferences within the utilities and sustainability sectors.
The role focuses on selling exhibition space and high-value sponsorship packages, solution-led approach while collaborating closely with internal teams to achieve strong commercial outcomes.
We are partnering with an independent, multi-award-winning media company. They offer a range of digital and in-person conferences, exhibitions, awards, and bespoke events alongside its publishing portfolio, with a growing focus on audience-led revenue and data-driven insights. Trusted by thousands of B2B professionals, it delivers high-quality content and events to support informed business decision-making.
Duties & Responsibilities for this Business Development Sponsorship Manager - B2B Eventsrole:
*Achieve sponsorship and exhibition sales targets by developing new business across key markets.
*Build long-term client partnerships using a consultative approach and delivering tailored marketing and event solutions.
*Attend competitor events where appropriate to support business development.
*Identify target accounts using existing networks, social media, AI tools and other research methods.
*Collaborate with production and marketing teams to explore new markets and develop strong sales propositions.
*Sell international business into UK events and across other portfolio products, including membership offerings.
To be successful in this Business Development Sponsorship Manager - B2B Eventsrole :
*Ideally 4 years’+ experience in B2B consultative sales, ideally within media or B2B events.
*Proven experience selling sponsorship packages, exhibition stands, content, activations, and roundtables.
*Experience working on international events, exhibitions, and conferences is highly desirable.
*Demonstrated success in new business development, with a strong understanding of the full sales cycle.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Confident in both phone-based and face-to-face selling, including cold outreach.
*A collaborative team player, able to work effectively across internal teams.
