Compliance Accountant, £50-60k Berkshire, Bracknell, Slough, Reading
Our client, a leading global SaaS and cloud technology business, is seeking a Compliance Accountant to support global tax and statutory obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
This is a key role within the Finance team, ensuring accurate and timely compliance across the UK, US, EU, and APAC regions.
The RoleReporting to the Finance Director, you will:
*Own UK VAT processes including submission and HMRC liaison
*Coordinate global tax and statutory filings with external advisers
*Maintain compliance calendars and track deadlines
*Oversee US sales tax processes (Avalara)
*Support audits, regulatory requests, and tax inspections
*Reconcile tax balance sheet accounts and prepare compliance reports
*Identify risks and improve compliance processes
Requirements*AAT qualified or equivalent experience
*ACA / ACCA / CTA (or studying) desirable
*Degree Educated, (Pref 2:1 or above)
*3+ years’ experience in tax, finance, or compliance
*Strong UK VAT knowledge
*Experience working with external advisers / auditors
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Experience in multi-entity or international environments desirable
