Job Description:
An established and growing organisation is looking to strengthen its finance team with the addition of an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager. Based at the company’s Head Office, the business offers a supportive and professional working environment, along with opportunities for career development and progression.
This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday, and will involve managing the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable team. The role will focus on ensuring efficient processing of sales invoices, credits, payments, and customer account changes while supporting the Credit Control team in resolving queries and disputes. You’ll also be responsible for monitoring KPIs, coaching and developing your team, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating closely with internal departments to ensure smooth account management processes.
Applicants will need a minimum of three years’ accounts receivable experience, preferably in a similar environment, along with at least two years’ experience leading and managing teams. Strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and exceptional attention to detail are key. You should also have good IT systems knowledge, strong organisational skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. A recognised relevant qualification (e.g., AAT) would be desirable but not essential.
In return, the company offers a competitive salary and a strong benefits package, including generous holiday allowance, a day off for your birthday, staff awards, access to discounts, and an employee assistance programme. There is also an excellent referral scheme offering £1,000 per successful recommendation.
