Removals Head of Fleet - Removals

Red Recruit Global is excited to collaborate with a well-established, award-winning Removals and Storage firm. We are currently seeking a dynamic Head of Fleet to oversee their UK-wide vehicle operations from their branch in Nottingham.
What you’ll do:
You’ll be responsible for managing a fleet of approximately 200 vehicles (3.5T-18T), working closely with operational managers across the UK to ensure everything runs smoothly, safely, efficiently and in full compliance.
*Ensuring full compliance, including Operator’s Licence oversight
*Supporting Regional Managers with driver and fleet compliance
*Building strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers
*Overseeing workshops and service standards across the network
*Managing fleet costs, fines, and day-to-day expenditure
*Handling fleet administration (V5s, purchase orders, etc.)
*Producing weekly reports for senior leadership
What you need:
We’re keen to speak to experienced fleet professionals who hold a Transport Manager CPC and have recent hands-on fleet management experience, including stakeholder management skills. It goes without saying you should have strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements. Experience managing commercial vehicles would also be a distinct advantage.
