Debt Recovery and Administration Agent | Halifax Town Centre
Office-based
Salary £24,000-£26,000 basic + Monthly team bonus
Permanent / Full-time | 35 hours per week / 9am-5pm (1 hour lunch)

We are looking for a confident and professional Commercial and B2B Debt Recovery and Administration Agent, on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded B2B debt recovery agency based in Halifax.

What you’ll be doing
*Managing a portfolio of B2B accounts, supporting clients with the recovery of outstanding payments
*Speaking with businesses by phone and email to understand situations and agree suitable payment solutions
*Building professional relationships with customers while maintaining a firm but fair approach
*Negotiating repayment plans and working towards positive outcomes for all parties
*Keeping accurate records of all communications and account activity
*Handling general administrative tasks to support the wider team
*Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team targets and performance goals

What we’re looking for
*Previous experience in an office, customer service, credit control or telephone-based role
*Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with businesses in a professional setting
*Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, or a willingness to develop them
*Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
*Organised, reliable and able to manage workload effectively
*A positive, team-focused approach
Previous experience in debt recovery or credit control would be beneficial, but it’s not essential as full training will be provided.
