Job Description:
Project Coordinator
*Location: East Grinstead, West Sussex
*Job Type: Full-time (Early Finish on Friday)
*Salary: £32,000 to £34,000
We are currently recruiting for a highly organised Project Coordinator to join a fast-paced team. This role will see you managing and accuracy-checking supplier and customer orders while providing end-to-end sales support. You’ll play a key part in ensuring all processes, standards and procedures are followed, acting as a central point of coordination between key account customers and internal teams. This opportunity is well suited to someone who thrives under pressure, has strong attention to detail and is confident working with high-value or key client accounts.
Day-to-day Duties of the role:
*Liaise with suppliers and customers as required via telephone and email.
*Place and progress purchase orders with suppliers, advising on delivery status.
*Build and check quotations and approve purchase invoices for payment.
*Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports.
*Review incoming supplier products from goods-in, including final inspection, ensuring all necessary documentation is correct.
*Prepare and check products for dispatch, including initial and final inspection prior to dispatch, ensuring all documentation is complete for international orders.
*Perform clerical duties, including filing, answering phone calls, responding to emails and preparing documents.
*Ensure adherence to ISO9001 quality standard requirements.
*Provide ad-hoc support to the Operations team and deputise for the Key Account Manager when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an office environment.
*Proven experience in working with Key Account Customers.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Ability to multi-task and prioritise projects.
*Strong customer-service orientation.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
*An understanding of UK and international logistics procedures.
