Community Support Worker
Adults Social Care | Day Services
Pay rate: £18.65 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: 08:45am – 4:30pm
We are currently recruiting a Community Support Worker to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and challenging behaviour within a community-based setting.
This is a hands-on, rewarding role focused on promoting independence, dignity and choice, while enabling service users to access meaningful activities and opportunities in their local community.
Key responsibilities:*Supporting individuals using a person-centred approach
*Assisting with daily activities, community access, learning and leisure opportunities
*Providing personal care and medication support where required
*Managing and responding appropriately to challenging behaviour
*Working in partnership with colleagues, families and professionals
*Maintaining accurate records and following safeguarding procedures
Requirements:*NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) or above
*Proven experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism
*Experience with personal care and managing challenging behaviour
*Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach
This role is ideal for an experienced support worker seeking a full-time position with consistent weekday hours.
