Chef Supervisor – Full Time
Belfast
Reed is recruiting an experienced Chef Supervisor for a full-time, site-based catering role in Belfast. This is a hands-on leadership position with strong daytime hours and excellent pay.
Role Details
*37.5 hours per week
*Monday to Friday, 7am – 3pm
*1 in 4 Saturdays (paid as overtime)
*£17.05 per hour
*Free parking & free EV charging
Key Responsibilities
*Preparing and supervising high-quality food service
*Menu planning, ordering, and stock control
*Ensuring full compliance with HACCP, COSHH, and allergen controls
*Managing food costs, portion control, and waste
*Daily till, safe, and monthly banking procedures
*Supervising, training, and motivating kitchen staff
*Updating digital menus and supporting occasional events
Essential Requirements
*Previous experience as a Chef Supervisor / Managing Chef
*Strong food safety and health & safety knowledge
*Proven leadership experience in a professional kitchen
*Financial awareness including budget and stock control
*Relevant culinary qualification (NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)
