Food Technician - Full-Time (5 Days per Week)

The Role
As a Food Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of engaging and effective food and nutrition lessons. Working closely with teaching staff, you will ensure that practical sessions run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
*Preparing ingredients, equipment, and resources for practical food lessons
*Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen/classroom environment
*Supporting teachers and students during practical sessions
*Managing stock, ordering supplies, and monitoring budgets
*Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*Previous experience working as a Food Technician or in a similar role within an educational setting
*Strong subject knowledge in food, nutrition, or a related field
*A relevant degree (preferred but not essential with strong experience)
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
*A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning
