Art & Design Technology Technician (Full-Time, 5 Days per Week)
Location: Lambeth, South London

The Role
As an Art & DT Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across the Art and Design Technology departments. You will work closely with teaching staff to prepare materials, maintain equipment, and ensure a safe and organised working environment for students.
Key Responsibilities
*Preparing and setting up materials, tools, and equipment for lessons
*Supporting practical lessons across a range of disciplines including Art, Resistant Materials, Graphics, and Textiles
*Maintaining and organising workshops, studios, and storage areas
*Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
*Assisting with stock control and ordering of supplies
*Providing technical support to staff and students during lessons
The Ideal Candidate
*Previous experience working as an Art/DT Technician in a school setting
*Strong subject knowledge across Art and Design Technology disciplines
*A relevant degree is preferred
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
*A proactive and flexible approach to work
*A strong understanding of health and safety within a workshop or studio environment
