Forklift Truck Driver / FLT Driver (Reach & Counterbalance)

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established logistics and warehouse operation in Leeds, for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable FLT Driver (Reach and Counterbalance) looking for a long-term, stable role within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
*Loading and unloading lorries using FLT (Reach & Counterbalance)
*Moving, stacking, and organising stock within the warehouse
*Supporting daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency
*General warehouse duties including picking, packing, and housekeeping
*Using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer systems
*Conducting pre-use checks on FLT equipment and reporting defects

Skills & Experience Required
*Valid FLT Reach and Counterbalance licences (essential)
*Proven experience as a Forklift Truck Driver / Warehouse Operative
*Experience in a logistics, distribution, or warehouse environment
*Basic IT / computer skills (WMS systems desirable)
*Strong work ethic with the ability to work under pressure
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Working Hours
*Monday to Friday
*10:00am – 8:00pm
*45 hours per week (including 1-hour unpaid break)
