Project OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Fit-Out Site Manager to oversee a internal warehouse fit-out project in Exeter. The project includes full internal works such as changing rooms, toilets, reception areas, and associated finishes, managing all trades on site.
Key Responsibilities*Manage day-to-day site operations for a full internal fit-out project
*Oversee and coordinate 15-20 operatives on site
*Ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard
*Maintain regular, proactive communication on site progress
*Review and interpret drawings, ensuring works align with design specifications
*Liaise with architects, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery
*Take a hands-on approach to site management (not desk-based)
*Report into the project lead and provide regular updates
*Maintain shared documentation and basic reporting via email and Word
Requirements*Proven experience as a Site Manager on fit-out projects (ideally similar scope)
*Strong communication and coordination skills
*Reliable and able to work autonomously on a remote project
*Proactive, detail-oriented, and site-focused approach
Certifications*SMSTS (essential)
*CSCS Card (essential)
*First Aid (essential)
*Banksman qualification (desirable, not essential)
