Job Description:
Accountant required for a well established accounting firm supporting contractors, freelancers and SMEs, the role is office based in Ferndown. This is a vibrant and forward thinking practice so this role would suit someone looking for the next step up in their career.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage a portfolio of clients and deliver high quality service
*Review statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
*Support, supervise and train junior staff
*Attend new client meetings and prepare quotations
*Allocate workloads and monitor internal SLAs
*Ensure timely submission of VAT returns and accounts
Requirements
*AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified (part or fully)
*Minimum 3 years’ practice experience
*Strong understanding of tax
*Confident communicator with excellent client facing skills
*Ability to manage a small team
*High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
