Macildowie are supporting a well-established organisation within the manufacturing sector in the search for a Head of Finance to lead financial operations across their European entities. This is a senior leadership opportunity suited to a commercially astute finance professional with a strong track record in multi-site, multi-entity environments.
The role will take full ownership of financial strategy, performance, and governance, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive growth, improve efficiencies, and support long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead financial strategy across European operations, ensuring alignment with wider group objectives
*Deliver robust financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles
*Provide insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making at board level
*Oversee cost control initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve margins and operational efficiency
*Evaluate investment opportunities, including capital expenditure and potential acquisitions
*Manage financial risk, tax strategy, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
*Lead and develop finance teams, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement
About You:
*Fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
*Extensive senior finance experience, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments
*Proven expertise managing multi-entity, multi-currency operations
*Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence at executive level
*Advanced analytical capability with strong ERP and Excel modelling skills
*Track record of driving cost efficiencies and supporting business growth
