We are recruiting for a Bike Mechanic / Cycle Technician / Bicycle Workshop Technician in Oxford. This is a hands-on role working in a busy bicycle repair workshop, carrying out bike servicing, bicycle repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of bikes.

About the roleAs a Bike Mechanic / Cycle Technician, you will work in a fast paced bicycle workshop carrying out bike servicing, bicycle repairs, and maintenance. You will diagnose faults, complete high quality repairs, and ensure all bicycles are repaired to a safe and professional standard.
You will also act as a key point of contact for customers, providing advice on bike repair, servicing, and maintenance.
Key responsibilities*Bike servicing, bicycle repairs, and general maintenance
*Diagnosing mechanical and basic electrical faults on bicycles
*Working as a Bike Mechanic in a busy workshop environment
*Delivering excellent customer service and technical advice
*Workshop organisation and stock control
*Recording all bicycle repairs and servicing accurately on systems
*Supporting sustainability through bicycle repair, reuse, and recycling
What we’re looking for*Experience as a Bike Mechanic, Cycle Technician, Workshop Technician, or Bicycle Repair Technician
*Strong experience in bike repair, bicycle servicing, or mechanical maintenance
*Passion for cycling, bikes, or outdoor sports
*Good mechanical problem solving skills
*Strong customer service and communication skills
*Attention to detail and high quality standards in bicycle repair
*Comfortable using workshop systems and basic IT
*Interest in sustainability and bicycle reuse (desirable)
