Job Description:
Job title: HR & Office Manager
Salary: up to £40k
Location: Watford
My client is looking for a HR & Office Manager to join their team; they are a well-run SME so looking for someone who has skills in both areas. This is a fast-paced role, where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
*Act as the first point of contact for employee relations, supporting managers with disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters
*Manage the full recruitment lifecycle
*Oversee onboarding, induction and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth employee experience
*Maintain and update HR policies
*Process monthly payroll
*Manage employee benefits (including pensions, healthcare and wider benefits platform)
*Coordinate training and development activity within budget
*Ensure compliance across all HR activity
*Oversee the day-to-day running of the office and act as the main point of contact for facilities and suppliers
*Manage health and safety processes
*Organise company events, meetings and travel arrangements
*Support Board and client meetings, including logistics and preparation of materials

*A proactive self-starter who takes ownership and delivers
*CIPD part-qualified or qualified by experience
