Job Description:
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer with at least 1 year PQE to manage their own caseload and further develop their career within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
*Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion and post-completion
*Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build transactions
*Providing clear and practical advice to clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process
*Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds, and other legal documentation
*Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
*Conducting title investigations and reporting on title
*Ensuring compliance with AML regulations and firm procedures
*Managing exchange and completion processes efficiently
*Dealing with post-completion formalities including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
*Maintaining accurate records using the firm’s case management system
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum of 1 year PQE in residential conveyancing.
*Proven experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
*Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process from start to finish.
*Excellent communication and client care skills.
*High level of attention to detail and strong organisational ability.
*Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
*Proficiency in case management systems and general IT skills.
*A proactive, team-oriented approach.
