Junior Buyer!
Magnus Search are looking for a junior buyer to join a rapidly growing company based in Dunkeswell, near Honiton. This fantastic opportunity is a Full Time Permanent Position where you will be working Monday – Thursday 8am – 5.15pm and Friday 8am – 1pm

As a Junior Buyer your responsibilities will include:
*Purchase components, equipment, and services for projects and customer orders
*Process requisitions and raise purchase orders accurately
*Expedite deliveries and proactively resolve supply issues
*Liaise with internal departments to support production requirements
*Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
*Support cost reduction initiatives and identify efficiency improvements
*Monitor supplier performance and suggest corrective actions
*Stay informed on market trends, pricing, and new technologies
*Assist with MRP system development and continuous process improvements
*Support invoice query resolution and ensure purchasing accuracy
To be successful you will need:
*A genuine interest in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
*Strong organisational skills with a logical and detail-oriented approach
*Confident communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build positive relationships
*Previous administration or office-based experience
*Proactive, self-motivated, and able to use initiative
*Strong problem-solving skills with a positive approach to challenges
*Reliable, approachable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
*Comfortable working under pressure and managing deadlines
*Driven to deliver high-quality work and continuous improvement
*Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
*Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
