In-Office Day Counsellor | Manchester | £28,000 to £33,000 per annum | Fully Office Based | 3+ days per week
We are currently recruiting for an experienced In-Office Day Counsellor to join a busy and supportive service based in Manchester. This is a strong opportunity to step into a structured, team-led environment delivering high-quality counselling within a fast-paced, helpline-style setting.
We are offering early access interviews, with candidates being reviewed ahead of a wider release. Shortlisting is ongoing, so early applications are recommended. Offers will be made on a rolling basis following interview.
Working as part of an established in-house counselling team, you will support clients accessing the service via a helpline. Sessions vary from one-off, in-the-moment support through to short-term structured interventions. You will work with a broad range of presentations including stress, anxiety, bereavement, and relationship difficulties.
You will be confident managing a varied caseload, maintaining accurate clinical records, and working within a clear clinical governance framework. This is a fully office-based position, offering a collaborative team environment alongside a structured shift pattern.

Essential Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must have:
*A minimum of 150 counselling hours, including placement
*At least 12 months post-qualification experience
*Confidence using IT systems and working within a helpline-style environment
