Combi / Side Loader Forklift Driver (Temp to perm)
Location: Birmingham
Hours:
*Monday–Thursday: 7:30am–5:15pm (45 min break – 9 hours worked)
*Friday: One Friday every 3–4 weeks (7:15am–4:00pm)
*Rate: £13.00–£15.00 per hour DOE
The Role
We are recruiting an experienced Combi / Side Loader Forklift Driver to support warehouse and production operations within a timber manufacturing environment. This role focuses on safely handling long and bulky materials in narrow aisles and yard areas.
Key Responsibilities
*Operating Combi Lift / Side Loader forklifts
*Moving long timber stock and materials safely
*Loading and unloading deliveries
*Supplying production and machining departments
*Carrying out daily FLT safety checks
*Supporting yard and warehouse duties as required
Essential Requirements
*Valid Combi or Side Loader FLT licence (RTITB / ITSSAR / AITT)
*Proven experience handling long or heavy loads
*Strong health & safety awareness
*Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach
