Teaching Assistants - Primary Schools (Supporting Children with Additional Needs)

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking caring, patient, and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in mainstream primary schools, supporting children with additional needs.
This is a highly rewarding role where you will play a vital part in helping pupils access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential within an inclusive classroom environment.
The Role:
*Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs (including SEN, SEMH, ASD, and ADHD)
*Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
*Support pupils with their social, emotional, and academic development
*Implement targeted interventions and personalised learning strategies
*Help to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
*Have experience working with children with additional needs in a school or similar setting
*Be patient, empathetic, and resilient
*Have strong communication and behaviour management skills
*Be proactive and able to adapt to individual pupil needs
*Hold a relevant TA qualification (desirable but not essential)
