Job Description:
Job Title: Estimator - Facades Division
Salary: Circa £45,000
Location: North Manchester
Start Date: End of May (flexible depending on notice period)
About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and capable Estimator to join their newly established Facades Division within a larger, well established group. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping estimating processes within a growing business unit.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for facade projects
*Analyse tender documentation and assess project requirements
*Support the preparation and submission of competitive tenders
*Work closely with internal teams to ensure commercially sound bids
*Report directly to the Estimating Manager
*Contribute to the development and improvement of estimating processes and systems
Candidate Profile
*Mid-level experience in estimating (ideally within facades)
*Dynamic and proactive approach, with the ability to add value beyond core responsibilities
*Comfortable working in a competitive tendering environment
*Strong analytical and numerical skills
*Proficient in Excel; experience or interest in implementing new estimating systems is highly desirable
*Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across teams
