Job Description:
Associate Geo-Environmental Consultant
Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: £45,000-£60,000
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Associate Geo-Environmental Consultant to join a well-established and growing environmental and engineering consultancy, supporting the delivery of complex land quality and remediation projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
*Leading and managing geo-environmental and contaminated land projects
*Overseeing site investigations, risk assessments, and remediation strategies
*Reviewing and signing off technical reports and deliverables
*Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants
*Liaising with clients, regulators, and stakeholders
*Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources
*Supporting business development activities, including tenders and client meetings
*Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and health & safety standards
What We’re Looking For:
*Extensive experience in geo-environmental consultancy or contaminated land
*Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering)
*Chartered status or working towards (e.g. CGeol, CEnv, or similar)
*Strong technical knowledge of contaminated land risk assessment and remediation
*Proven experience managing projects and leading teams
*Excellent report writing and communication skills
*Strong understanding of UK environmental legislation and planning framework
*Full UK driving licence
