We are pleased to be exclusively partnering with our client in their search for a Management Accountant to support site management and the wider finance function through the delivery of accurate management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Description
*Ownership of the month-end close process, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting
*Production of monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary
*Preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts in collaboration with operational stakeholders
*Business partnering with site and operational management to provide financial support and insight
*Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
*Supporting external audit processes and liaising with Group finance
*Ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
Profile
*A recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW)
*Proven experience in management accounting, ideally within an SME environment
*The ability to work proactively and on your own initiative, identifying opportunities to add value
*The resilience and organisation skills to thrive in a busy role with tight deadlines


This role is based 3 days per week in the office near Sittingbourne in Kent and 2 days from home, so please ensure this location is viable for you for 3 days per week before applying.
Job Offer
A salary level of up to £65,000 dependent on experience
Bonus potential of up to 12.5%
25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
