Job Description:
We’re seeking a skilled Site Mechanical Engineer to join a growing, service-focused team working across a diverse range of mechanical systems. If you enjoy problem-solving, working on-site, and taking ownership of your work, this could be the role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in keeping critical systems running smoothly, including:
*Servicing, maintaining, and repairing pumps, motors, fans, and rotating equipment
*Carrying out bearing replacements and mechanical seal changes
*Working on pumping stations, including sewage systems and associated equipment
*Lifting and clearing pumps, inspecting float switches, and checking control systems
*Diagnosing faults and delivering effective, long-term solutions
*Interacting directly with customers and representing the business on-site
This is a field-based role with local travel (range of approx 50 miles), offering real variety and autonomy.
What You’ll Need
*Solid experience working with pumps, motors, inverters, and mechanical systems
*Understanding of electrical panels and control systems
*Proven experience in pump and motor overhauls (5+ years preferred)
*Comfortable working on-site and liaising with customers
*Full UK driving licence
*Willingness to work at height or in confined spaces (training provided)
