Static HIU & Mechanical Engineer - King’s Cross, London
£55,000 + Full Package
We are currently recruiting for a Static HIU & Mechanical Engineer to be based at a prestigious site in King’s Cross. The Role:
Working as a static engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, service, and repair of HIUs (Heat Interface Units) and associated mechanical plant across a high-end commercial/residential development.
Package:
*Salary up to £55,000

Key Responsibilities:
*Service, maintenance, and fault finding on HIUs
*General mechanical maintenance across the site
*Working on plant room equipment including pumps, valves, and pipework
*Monitoring and maintaining heating and hot water systems
*Responding to reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns
*Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations
*Liaising with site management and clients
Requirements:
*Proven experience working with HIUs and mechanical systems
*Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
*Background in building services / facilities maintenance
*Relevant mechanical qualifications (desirable)
*Good communication and customer-facing skills
