We are currently seeking an experienced Hospitality & Catering Lecturer to provide temporary cover at our Wythenshawe Campus, delivering Level 1 and Level 2 practical and theory lessons.
This role is ideal for a hands-on catering professional with teaching experience who can confidently support learners in both kitchen-based practical sessions and classroom theory.
Role Details*Position: Catering Lecturer (Hospitality & Catering)
*Location: Wythenshawe Campus (Openshaw TMC)
*Contract: Temporary cover
*Pay Rate: £30+ per hour
*Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
*Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm each day
Key Responsibilities*Deliver engaging Level 1 & 2 Hospitality and Catering lessons (practical and theory)
*Plan and prepare lessons in line with the curriculum
*Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback
*Maintain a safe, professional learning environment
*Support learner progression and achievement
Requirements*Experience teaching Hospitality & Catering (FE preferred)
*Strong practical catering skills and subject knowledge
*Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
*Ability to manage both kitchen and classroom environments
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
