This role is a hands-on Cash Operations Executive position focused on managing, allocating, and reconciling cash across a large and complex loan portfolio. You will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting operational processes, and ensuring the integrity of cash records across multiple funds and entities.

Description
The duties of the Cash Operations Executive include:
*Managing daily cash postings and allocations from bank statements into internal lending systems
*Investigating and resolving unallocated cash, reconciliation breaks, and discrepancies
*Overseeing the full direct debit lifecycle, including file preparation, submission, and exception handling
*Processing participation payments and ensuring accurate allocation across multiple entities
*Preparing and executing payment runs with appropriate controls and approvals
*Supporting month-end close, reconciliations, and audit requirements
*Maintaining robust documentation and contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives
Profile
The successful Cash Operations Executive applicant ticks the below boxes:
*Experience in cash operations, loan administration, or a lending/asset finance environment
*Strong understanding of bank reconciliations and high-volume transaction processing
*Familiarity with direct debit processes and lending documentation
*Studying towards (or interested in) an accounting qualification such as AAT, ACA, ACCA or CIMA
*Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and complex formulas (macros beneficial)
*Detail-oriented, organised, and able to take ownership of issues through to resolution
*Proactive mindset with an interest in improving processes and leveraging technology
