Job Description:
The Control and Reconciliations Executive role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial and operational data across a Private Credit loan portfolio. You will carry out reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and support process improvements while working closely with Finance and Operations teams.

Description
The duties of the Control and Reconciliations Executive include:
*Owning and performing key reconciliations across loan administration systems and banking records
*Ensuring accuracy of financial data and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
*Reviewing financial and operational data for completeness and integrity
*Monitoring and maintaining effective financial and operational controls
*Supporting regulatory and internal reporting requirements
*Collaborating with Finance and Operations teams to ensure accurate data management
*Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and control
*Strengthening existing controls and reducing operational risk
*Supporting automation initiatives, with a focus on advanced Excel and data tools
Profile
A successful Control and Reconciliations Executive should have experience in financial operations, accounting, or a lending environment, with a strong grounding in reconciliations and data analysis. You should be detail-oriented, analytically strong, and comfortable investigating discrepancies across multiple systems. A proactive mindset, solid Excel skills, and an interest in process improvement are essential, with professional qualifications (or progress towards them) viewed favourably.
