You will be working in the Cementation Operating Unit where, for over a century, Cementation Skanska has been a trusted leader in piling and ground engineering. Our breadth of expertise spans every aspect of geotechnical engineering - from micro-piling to diaphragm walls - enabling us to deliver innovative solutions for the most complex challenges.
We are currently looking for a Stores Chargehand to undertake the day to day running of the Stores, leading by example in all aspects of health and safety, quality and promote an inclusive working culture.
As the Stores Chargehand, you will :
*Receive and check all incoming goods from suppliers and sites for quality, quantity and correctness
*Continually check inventory levels, authorise and prepare requisitions and orders for stock replenishment
*Use I.T. Stock Modules for booking and returning all stock issued/received and keeping Stock Balances up to date
*Carry out SHEPS, Daily Plant Maintenance, Racking Inspections, QR Checks, Toolbox talks, Safety Stand-downs
We are looking for:
*City and Guilds/NVQ or equivalent in Stores & Warehousing
*H&S Awareness Card
*CSCS Card
*Computer literate, I.T. Skills
*Good organisational skills, including prioritisation of workloads
*Good teamworking skills, encouraging co-operation between individuals and other departments
