Salary: £31,746 - £34,254 - DOE + Bonus
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm (1-hour lunch) - Fully Office Based
HRGO Recruitment are currently working with a well-established organisation, who are looking to appoint an experienced Sales Team Leader to join their Contact Centre operation in Boldon.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and hands-on leader to manage a small sales team, focused on generating high-quality appointments for a national field sales team.
The Role:
You will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Sales Executives, ensuring they generate qualified appointments through a mix of inbound enquiries and outbound activity. Alongside managing performance, you’ll play a key role in improving processes, driving results, and maintaining strong internal relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
*Managing and supporting a team of circa 4 Sales Executives
*Driving team performance to achieve daily and weekly appointment targets
*Monitoring inbound enquiries (calls, emails, web leads, live chat) and outbound activity
*Coaching and developing team members to improve performance and conversion rates
*Handling escalations and supporting day-to-day team queries
*Working closely with internal stakeholders, including Sales and Marketing teams
*Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
What We’re Looking For:
*Proven experience in a sales, telesales, or contact centre environment
*Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
*Strong coaching and people management skills
*Ability to motivate a team and drive performance against targets
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
What’s on Offer:
*Salary between £31,746 - £34,254 DOE plus bonus
